We often we drive ourselves crazy and feel unhappy because we go over and over mistakes we have made.
Little do you realise that sometimes sanity comes in the smallest of adjustments.
Stop at what you are doing and look at what is in front of you – adjust your perception. Improve your self-esteem by re-thinking the things you believe you have done wrong or badly.
For example: You have to give a presentation at work. Do you mentally beat yourself up after the presentation and stew over tiny errors?
Instead of stewing over tiny errors, look at what went well.
So when you have a bad day, or something goes wrong in your relationship or at work, write an account of what went right with that episode, not what went wrong.
The results will surprise you – and improve how you see yourself.
